Charleston Auto Auction accepts all major National and Regional dealer floor-plan programs making buying from us as easy as having your own banker on the premises.  The following is a partial listing of qualified programs that we accept:

28-Day Float

At the Charleston Auto Auction we provide our dealers with an advantage of having more buying power. Through our FLOAT Program, every dealer can buy more vehicles and in turn provide their customers with a larger inventory.

Here is how it works:

  • 28-Day Float Plan - $15,000 Limit Per Vehicle - 10 Vehicles or $70,000 per Dealership on Float at any given time.  

  • You write one check per vehicle on the day of sale/purchase and Float it for the next 28 days.

  • Should you sell the vehicle before the end of the 28-days, just give us a call and have the check(s) dropped (released) - and we will mail you your title after a 3-day title delay.  

  • On the twenty-eighth day the check(s) will automatically be dropped and all titles will be mailed or Fed-x [you chose the mailing format] after the 3-day title delay.

There is a Float fee charge at the time of purchase - which must be on a separate check as it goes directly to the bank for deposit. There will be no prorating of this Float fee for a shorter period.  If the vehicle is over $15,000 you must write out a separate check for this overage, which also goes directly to the bank for deposit on sale day.
