| Dealer consignment is the backbone
of any auto auction. The case is no different at the
Charleston Auto Auction. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring
each dealer receives timely, fair and equitable service. Our
polices were designed with this in mind.
Charleston Auto Auction provides an assortment of options for all dealers, whether buyers or sellers. Our Lanes have been structured to ensure our sellers the highest obtainable sales results, while organizing the selection of vehicles for our buying dealers. Charleston Auto Auction offers nine categories of units running in four action packed lanes. The "P" Lane is for any dealer who bought a unit at Charleston Auto Auction or our sister sale (Carolina Auto Auction) and have owned it for 60 days. They can run this 60 day old unit with a Free Sales Fee's in this lane. The "LB" Lane runs units from Lease, Bank, Repo and Donations companies. These units all come with a full condition report available online. These units also run Live Online each week. The "E" Lane is for independent dealers who consign 10 or more units, any year, make or model. The "C" Lane offers units that are 2000 model year and Older from independent dealers. The "A" Lane offers units that are 2001 model year and Newer from independent dealers. The "F" Lane runs 2005 model year and newer, frontline ready units. These units must be on the auction premises no later then 5:00pm, Wednesday. All of these units are pre-certified, come with a 7 day warranty and are offered Live Online via Pipeline Simulcast. CALL MONDAY MORNING 9:00am FOR THESE RUN NUMBERS (THIS LANE ONLY) On any given week, our independent dealers can also run a special consignment consisting of 20 or more vehicles from the same dealership, regardless of year, make or model. These special consignments receive priority run times, display areas, and other special features. These units run in the "S" Lane. The "LD" Lane runs damaged and disabled units every Friday. Franchise dealers are no different. They too receive fair and equitable treatment: The "T" Lane is for franchise dealers who bring less than 10 units. Run numbers are given based on the previous 6-week average sales percentage for these dealerships. The "TE" lane is for franchise dealers who bring 10 or more units. All run numbers (excluding the F lane) are reserved beginning at 9:00 am each Wednesday, first call, first choice for all lanes. The first 10 run numbers in each lane are never reserved, but set aside for dealers whose vehicles are on auction property to ensure a full slate of vehicles at lane starting time. A turn board (early reserved numbers) is available for dealers who wish to leave a vehicle from one week to another, without leaving auction property. |
